A. The possible bombardment of cosmic rays that would damage spacecraft.
B. The building of a spacecraft capable of escaping from the gravitational field of the solar system.
C. The enormous distances involved in getting to different places.
D. The enormous time involved in getting to different places.
E. All of the other answers are problems for space travel.

Maybe DNA accidentally winds itself on some “habitable” planet other than earth, but how????? Making replicatable molecules is like the most impossible code to crack and we say that it should happen by accident??? Scientist jump over this point. Dawkins describes the first living molecules as “clay” buy clay what???The Drake equation is clearly wrong. It needs to be looked at not from the universe’s size but in terms of probability at the molecular level.

I want to go on vacation with my family, but my husband has to work and get our daughter to summer school. He says that “people who can’t pay there bills have no business going on vacation”. His argument is that he would not go on a vacation without me. Any opinions? We have only been married 18 months and have a 6 year old and a 7 month old, and live with my parents until I go back to work.

I will be going for a 12 days visit to an international country. I am dating this person since 3 months (I am not in love with him, and he is – we are just seeing how things go) who said I had to give him my number upon reaching there. I want to see this break as a real vacation to relax with peace of mind, and not have someone call me all days to chat or check on me.
What exactly can I say to him, so he gets the message without being hurt?

Suppose it was immediately after the Big Bang and the Universe was the size of, lets say, a football field. Would it take the same amount of time for a light beam to travel from one side to the other as it would now, with the Universe at it’s current size? Basically, would it take hundreds of billions of years for a light beam to cross 100 yards in a football field sized Universe?

We all know that companies are working on space tourism possibilities. Do you think that will lead to mass civilians taking advantage of this and paying under 3,000 to 500 dollars for a ticket? Also do you think it will lead to mass civilians taking off in North Carolina and arriving in London or Australia is less than an hour. My reason is I don’t want my family or fomer school mates to have it easier to get to me. Am I worried for nothing and should get a life?
